Join us for a virtual weekend celebrating everything that makes Danish craft culture so charming: traditional Nordic knitting techniques, from stranded colorwork to the iconic Danish purl, plus a dive into the country's other beloved handcrafts, including traditional paper crafts and folk textile traditions passed down through generations. Whether you're a seasoned knitter or just enjoy a good excuse to sit with yarn in hand, this weekend is built for curious hands and warm hearts.
But we're not stopping at crafts! We'll be diving headfirst into hygge itself. Expect a Saturday evening kitchen session where we'll whip up Danish treats together, plus plenty of moments built around warmth, community, and slowing down. Think candlelight, good company (even through a screen), and the kind of unhurried joy Danes have turned into an art form.
Come for the knitting, stay for the hygge, and leave with new skills, new friends, and a taste of Denmark to keep the good feeling going long after the weekend ends.

Some shawls are pretty. This one is a conversation.
Prism Break is an asymmetrical shawl worked on the bias, and here's why that matters: Noro's famously unpredictable color transitions cascade diagonally across the fabric in bold, shifting stripes that look far more complex than they are to knit. Big, open double eyelets keep things interesting without ever getting fussy, and a delicate picot bind-off finishes the edge with just the right amount of polish.

Prism Break was originally designed as the group project for the KNITopia Japan Cruise 2026, a piece meant to be cast on together, worked side by side at sea, and finished with a little help from friends. You don't need to have been there to love it. But knowing where it came from makes it a little more special.
